Let the reader save your place
Open a supported chapter in Manga Mochi's native reader and move through the pages normally. When you leave the reader, the app records the recent title, chapter and page on the device.
Continue from Home
The Continue reading area on Home shows your latest reading when saved progress is available. Tap the recent item to reopen the chapter and return to the stored page. If the source removed or changed the chapter, the app may need to reload it or show an error instead.
Use bookmarks for titles you want later
Reading progress answers “where did I stop?” A bookmark answers “which title did I want to keep?” Save a title to the local Library when you expect to return after a longer break. Read the bookmarks versus reading history guide for a side-by-side workflow.
Progress and bookmarks serve different jobs. Use Continue reading for the current chapter and Library for titles you want to keep nearby.
What happens across devices
Manga Mochi does not require an account and does not sync reading history to a cloud profile. Progress remains on the device where it was created. If you change phones, use the manual backup and restore actions in Profile to carry supported reader data yourself.
When progress looks wrong
- Finish loading the page before closing the reader.
- Open the same title through the supported native flow.
- Check whether the source changed the chapter or page list.
- Create a fresh manual backup after important library changes.
