Use a bookmark to keep a title
A bookmark answers “which manga do I want to return to?” Add a title to Library when you want it to remain easy to find after the current reading session. A bookmark is useful before you start reading, between releases or after a long break.
Use reading history to find your latest session
Recent reading answers “what did I open most recently?” Manga Mochi can surface a recent title on Home after you read through a supported native flow. This is the quickest route back when you were reading a few minutes or days ago.
Use saved progress to return to the page
Page progress answers “where did I stop inside this chapter?” When the same supported chapter remains available, reopening it can return you to the stored page. If the source changes its chapter data, the app may need to reload the chapter or show an error. The reading progress guide explains the complete return flow.
Bookmark the title for the long term. Use recent reading for the latest session. Let saved page progress handle the exact place inside a supported chapter.
A practical reading routine
- Bookmark a title when you decide it belongs in your local Library.
- Open a supported chapter and read normally.
- Use Continue reading on Home for the next session.
- Remove bookmarks you no longer want to keep.
- Create a fresh manual backup after important library changes.
Where the data is stored
Manga Mochi does not require an account. Bookmarks, recent reading, page progress and preferences remain on the device in the current production app. They do not silently sync to a cloud profile.
Moving to another Android device
Use the manual backup and restore actions in Profile when you choose to move supported reader data. Treat the backup as private because it represents your local reading setup. Check your Library and recent reading after the restore before removing data from the old phone.
