Do not clear app data while checking
Bookmarks, recent reading, saved page progress, preferences and supported downloads stay on the device. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling can remove local data, so avoid either action while you investigate.
Check Continue reading and Library
Open Home and review Continue reading for the latest saved session. Then open Library for bookmarked titles. A bookmark keeps a title nearby, while recent reading and page progress record where you stopped.
Confirm the same source and manga language
Saved progress still depends on the third-party source keeping the chapter available. A different source or manga-language selection may show a different catalog. Review Manga language in Profile, return to the original supported source and browse the title again.
Reopen the supported chapter
If the same chapter is still available, open it through the normal reader flow and let its pages load. The app can return to a saved page when the chapter data still matches. If the source changed its chapter or page list, the old position may no longer map exactly.
Manga Mochi does not host third-party manga and cannot restore a chapter that its source removed.
Restore only from a backup you created
Manga Mochi does not silently sync progress to a cloud account. If you made a manual backup before reinstalling, changing phones or clearing storage, restore that copy from Profile and review Library, recent reading and an available chapter before deleting the backup.
If there is no backup
After app storage was cleared or the app was removed, local progress may not be recoverable without a manual backup. Rebuild the bookmark from the source and open the latest chapter you remember. Create a new backup after important library changes.
