Separate interface language from manga language
Interface language changes Manga Mochi's buttons, navigation and settings. Manga language changes which available titles or chapters the app requests from supported sources. Changing the interface does not translate a chapter, and changing manga language can return a different catalog.
Review Manga language in Profile
- Open Profile.
- Check Interface language for the controls you want.
- Open Manga language separately.
- Select the language you want to browse when available.
- Return to the source and refresh or browse again.
Confirm the same supported source
Third-party sources have different catalogs and language coverage. A title available from one source or language selection may not appear in another. Manga Mochi does not host or translate third-party manga and cannot guarantee the same title in every language.
Your bookmark may still be local
A title can remain bookmarked in Library even when the current source or language no longer returns its chapter. Open Library and check the saved title before removing anything. If its original source changed or removed it, the old chapter may no longer open.
A missing search result does not by itself prove that bookmarks, history or progress were erased.
Do not clear app data as a language fix
Clearing Android app storage or reinstalling can remove local bookmarks, history, progress, preferences and downloads. Review both language settings and the source first. Create a manual backup before destructive troubleshooting.
If a saved chapter no longer opens
Return to the title through the same supported source, confirm the selected manga language and retry once after a short wait. If the source removed or changed the chapter, local progress may no longer map exactly.
