Know which language you want to change
A manga reader can have two separate language settings. The interface language controls buttons, navigation and settings. The manga language controls which available titles or chapters the app requests from supported sources. Changing one does not automatically change the other.
Change the Manga Mochi interface language
- Open Profile in Manga Mochi.
- Open Interface language.
- Choose English or Vietnamese.
- Check the navigation and settings labels to confirm the change.
Interface language changes Manga Mochi's controls. It does not translate the text or artwork inside a manga chapter.
Choose manga language separately
- Stay in Profile.
- Open Manga language.
- Select the language you want to browse when it is available.
- Return to a supported source and refresh or browse again.
If a title or chapter does not appear
Language availability comes from the third-party source. A source may not provide a selected title or chapter in every language, and its catalog can change. Try refreshing the source or opening another supported title. Manga Mochi filters available source content; it does not host or translate third-party manga.
Keep language settings and progress on your device
Your interface preference, manga language preference, bookmarks and reading progress remain on the device. Create a manual backup before reinstalling the app or changing phones. Follow the local manga library backup guide to carry supported reader data yourself.
Continue reading after a language change
A chapter saved in recent reading still depends on the source keeping that chapter available. If the selected manga language changes what the source returns, browse the title again and open an available chapter. The reading progress guide explains how Continue reading and saved pages work.
